Broadband Internet customers will be assessed a new monthly surcharge called Federal Universal Service (FUSC) Recovery Charge starting August 1, 2011. The rate is set at 14.4%* of your monthly internet charge. The Federal Universal Service Fund keeps local service rates affordable for all customers and supports
the provision of telecommunications service to schools, libraries, and rural
health care providers.
