Ronan, Pablo, Hot Springs, Charlo, St. Ignatius, Arlee, Dixon, Plains, Thompson Falls, Noxon, St. Regis, Superior, Alberton, Frenchtown, Missoula, Stevensville, Hamilton, Darby, Clinton, Potomac, Ovando, Seeley Lake, Condon, Drummond, Phillipsburg, Polson, Elmo and Finley Point.

Calls to some cell phone wireless carriers are local.

***Credit Card Authentication Lines are a new service RTC plans to offer businesses. It will be used to allow credit card authentication machines to operate by allowing an 800 call to automatically made when a card is swiped. All other types of calling to and from these lines, including incoming calling, will be blocked.

Tips for picking the
right plan:

  1. Evaluate your telephone bill. Are there exchanges that you call more frequently than others? How many calls do you make per month? Do you need a plan that allows unlimited calls at a fixed price? Is a plan that charges by destination and location more appropriate?
  2. Evaluate your household needs. Do you have children who call school friends or neighbors? Do you make a number of calls to family and friends?
  3. Inform your household. Talk about the calling plans with other household members. Once you have selected a plan make sure everyone knows what the plan permits.
